This year, among other exciting changes, we have moved the event to Shady Beach, Norwalk CT. This spot has better access, shade, and space for set up and post-event relaxing! Thanks to Norwalk Parks and Rec for making this possible. You will also note this year we are sporting a new identity! Many thanks to Virginia Atkin at Source Marketing, Norwalk for this – we have some pretty cool race shirts for you as a result!

New Course

With the change of location the race will track the same course as previous years with the exception of the start and finish. The 14 mile event will launch from Shady Beach, heading east around Sprite Island, around Pecks Ledge before heading out to the south of the Norwalk Islands to Greens Ledge Light before retracing the route back. The 7 mile event will turn back half way.
In addition this year, we are welcoming Outdoor Sports Center of Wilton CT, who will be bringing along a selection of kayaks, skis and stand up paddle boards for folks to try out. Coupled with our new location, improved course and growing attendance, this will be an end of season event you won’t want to miss!
